Loving how my life turned around with Pranic Healing!

 

After being diagnosed with Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) in 2011, I spent the next 7 years desperately trying to find someone – or something – that could help. When I discovered Pranic Healing in 2018, I had no idea that it would be so effective, not just for the CRPS but for all the other physical, emotional and mental issues that come with chronic pain.

I had an accident that left me with severe nerve damage in my left leg and foot and was told by Consultants and Specialists that the damage was irreparable. I was given a cocktail of painkillers, antidepressants, a set of crutches and a wheelchair. I couldn’t wear shoes or socks. Even a slight breeze or a drop of rain on my foot would cause it to swell and discolour. It felt like every kind of pain you could imagine was partying in my leg.

My world shrank and I became a recluse. I couldn’t work, not just because of the pain but also the side effects of the drugs and lack of sleep. On a good day I could get to the bathroom and back by myself but that would be it.

Many months were lost to the pain and drug-induced brain fog. Severe depression set in and didn’t leave. My whole body ached and my energy levels were constantly low. The thought of spending the next twenty, thirty or forty-plus years in constant pain was unbearable, and suicidal thoughts were always in my mind.

Fortunately, I had the love and support of my family and a partner who spent every spare moment looking for therapies. He always believed that there was something that would work. That ‘something’ happened to be Les Flitcroft and Pranic Healing. When I heard about how Les had regained the use of his arm through Pranic Healing, I was full of hope that he could help me.

After the first Pranic Healing session with Les, I noticed huge changes and these continued. The depression lifted, my energy levels went up and I slept through the night. The swelling and discolouration in my leg and foot stopped and I was less dependent on the wheelchair. I looked forward to going out and took up a couple of hobbies. When I went on holiday it didn’t take me three days to get over the travelling and I could last the day and evening before getting tired.

I was so impressed with the results, I took all the courses so I could continue to self-heal and learn the science behind the magic. Eighteen months on and I work as a Pranic Healer, specialising in helping Horses and Dogs and I couldn’t be happier.  I don’t have my old life back, I have one that’s so much better than I could ever have imagined. Travel Delays – 4 Fantastic Ways to Stay Happy & Calm

You’re excited about your long-awaited holiday and can’t wait to finally get out of your stressful routine and into relaxation mode. However,  before that happens, you need to get there. 

Have you ever had one of those journeys when things didn’t go to plan? 

Although a travel delay can be frustrating, why is it that some people will become outraged and start to shout, yet another person will remain calm and deal with the delay as if it wasn’t even the slightest inconvenience? Is it that the former has more important matters to attend to? More important people to see?  Whilst this may be the case for some, others may be negatively reacting to what they perceive as a taxing situation.

Feelings of panic can arise when you’re caught off guard to an unexpected delay.  Although we know that this doesn’t help the situation, sometimes it’s difficult to control our reactions.

Here are  4 fantastic ways to stay happy and calm  

1.    Be Prepared

First of all, accept that delays are possible. It makes good sense to plan extra time to allow for traffic jams and cancellations. Ensure you are packed the night before to avoid a last-minute rush in the morning.  By doing this you can keep stress levels down. Bring something that will help if faced with a delay, like a good book, magazine, music or journal. 

2.    Breathe

Don’t underestimate the power of the breath. A couple of minutes deep abdominal breathing can rapidly release stress and tension. When unhelpful thoughts are spiralling out of control,  stress hormones are triggered which causes you to breathe more quickly to deliver more oxygen-rich blood to the body. Slowing down your breathing will help to stop this ‘fight or flight’ response and allow your mind to think more clearly and logically. 

3.    Stay Positive

Being positive goes a long way, and every situation can be turned around if you allow it to. Many great things come from a structured and planned approach. However, there’s something to say for spontaneity and creativity. It’s important to keep an eye out for opportunities that are sometimes disguised. Maybe the delay will force you to sit down with a coffee and a chance to think about things you have put off due to your overactive life. Or perhaps you will have that ‘chance’ encounter that could lead to a special conversation or a connection with a long lost friend. If we don’t open ourselves up to possibilities and just stick to unhelpful thinking, we will only limit ourselves and miss some wonderful opportunities.

4.    Attract Better Outcomes

When you focus on the negatives in a situation, you may notice that more negativity arises in your life. You may encounter a rude staff member at the airport, and all you do is think about how this made you feel, causing you to get angrier by re-living the experience. Once you get into this state, it’s hard to get out of this negative spiral. Your entire physical body changes along with the energy that you radiate, causing people to be wary of any interactions with you. However, if you are in a positive state, people will be drawn to your smile and energy and respond accordingly with kindness. 

There is much more to life than meets the eye. Energy is a significant factor in our everyday interactions and how we choose to focus our attention will determine our outcomes. 3 Winning Ways to Bounce back from Sporting Defeat

Have you ever been in a race or match, where the opposition starts winning? If so, you might have felt an urge to fight back, similar to the fight or flight response. Or maybe your mind starts to create a magnitude of negative self-talk and self-doubt. As the mind creates these thoughts, the physical body starts to automate and act in a way that represents this by slowing down or giving up.

It’s the perfect opportunity for any inner beliefs of low self-esteem to pop up and be fed, and before you know it, you are in the hamster wheel of a negative mindset. “ I’m just not good enough”, “ I should have practised more”, “I give up”. Sound familiar?

As we enter into the sporting season, with the Wimbledon Tennis Finals upon us, we watch how dedicated athletes keep their focus and mindset on the match, even with millions of people watching from around the world. 

1.Understanding the mind – The main aspect of succeeding

Down, depressed or even angry. It can take anything from a few minutes to a few days to bounce back. But do you bounce back?

We have between 20,000- 80,000 thoughts per day.  Each thought can be likened to a spark of energy. This then sits in what’s called our energy system, which is in and around our physical body. Scientists call this our ‘bioplasmic body’. Within a match, you could be creating a few thousand thoughts.
